The 2021 Chupadero was not aged in a Sherry cask, unlike the 2020, and the wine has gained in place character. It is made with Listán Blanco from ancient and huge vines inside the crater of the Chupadero volcano. It has finesse, austerity and a strong rocky sensation. It's an expression of Listán with a stronger sensation of salinity, finishing with a lip-smacking sensation. All muscle and bones with no fat. There is no 2022 version of this wine.

Description
The white wine Puro Rofe Chupadero owes its name to the crater of a volcano, and its vineyards are located in an area where the pits have a large diameter. Inside the pits there is a centenary vineyard that gives way to the production of Listán blanco, being the main variety for this wine.
Although Lanzarote's landscape was transformed by a series of volcanic eruptions that covered about a third of the land in thick black lava and ash, and destroyed the island's traditional agricultural crops, all of this created the conditions for the island to begin its wine production.
Winemaking
The Puro Rofe Chupadero wine is produced by the careful selection of each of the varieties present in the region, which allows to achieve a particular effect. Its agricultural method is exclusive to the region and very suitable for the cultivation of the vine.
The whole process is carried out with the greatest possible care, without mechanisation, resulting in a protected wine with healthy grapes. This way of cultivation allows to keep its mineral volcanic flavour in a perfect and balanced way.
Taste
The Puro Rofe Chupadero wine presents itself as a tropical and balanced wine, which is characterised by the aroma of ripe yellow citrus fruits. On the palate you can perceive the taste of warm tropical fruits with herbal and oaky hints, making a succulent wine.

This wine is responsible for breaking the stereotypes about the wines of Lanzarote, due to the combination of rare or unusual grapes. The Puro Rofe Chupadero wine can be served at Christmas dinners with chicken or turkey.
