Description
This white wine is made from Aligoté grapes in the Burgundy region. This grape comes from organic vineyards that are planted on top of clay and limestone soils.
It is an aged wine that symbolises an original expression of terroir, similar to the place where the Aligoté grape grows. This Bourgogne is undoubtedly one of the best ever created. At some point in its preparation, this wine comes into contact with wood or with the lees that come from the dead yeasts.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts without temperature control. The wine is aged for 11 months in French oak barrels. The resulting wine is bottled without fining, filtering or adding sulphite or other chemical additives. The Aligoté grape is a Burgundy grape variety characterised by being a vigorous, very productive and early-ripening variety.
In this wine, the alcoholic fermentation and its preservation are carried out in a traditional way, and this gives it a particular flavour and aroma that make this wine stand out as one of the lightest wines.
Taste
Bourgogne Aligote is a fresh and pleasant white wine, characterised by its explosive fruity aromas. It is very easy to drink on the palate, being light with a balanced acidity.
