Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Disgorged in May 2022 without dosage, Dehours's 2015 Extra-Brut Millésime is a small cuvée, amounting to only some 3,000 bottles, but it has turned out beautifully. Wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, mint, white flowers and blanched almonds, it's medium to full-bodied, racy and chiseled, with terrific depth at the core, tangy acids and chalky structuring extract. Produced every year from the estate's best lots, its composition naturally varies from one vintage to the next.

Description
Dehours Le Millésime Brut is an elegant and mineral expression of Champagne viticulture. This wine is a tribute to each year's vintage, highlighting the unique characteristics of each season. This champagne is composed of a blend of 2/3 Pinot Meunier and 1/3 Chardonnay from the Brisefer vineyard.
Winemaking
The Pinot Meunier is fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the Chardonnay is aged in oak barrels, adding complexity and structure to the wine.
The ageing of this champagne is remarkable, with 72 months of bottle ageing. This long ageing on lees contributes to the complexity and depth of the wine. The bottling date was in June, and the wine has a dosage of 0 to 3g/l, depending on the date of disgorgement. Production of this vintage was limited, with only 2588 75cl bottles produced.
Taste
Dehours Le Millésime Brut is characterised by elegance and minerality, reflecting the quality and distinctive character of its terroir. The combination of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay creates a balanced flavour profile, where the freshness and fruitiness of the Pinot Meunier is complemented by the structure and complexity of the oak-aged Chardonnay. This champagne is ideal to be served in a large white wine glass at a temperature above 10°C, and can be decanted to further enhance its qualities.
In summary, Dehours Le Millésime Brut is a champagne that stands out for its varietal composition, ageing method, and unique flavour profile.
