Description
Marqués de Murrieta Primer Rosé, is a rosé wine made entirely from grapes of the Mozuelo variety by the emblematic Marqués de Murrieta winery of the D.O.Ca. La Rioja.
This grape variety comes from our own vineyards planted in 1950 at an altitude of 485 metres above sea level, in the Ygay estate located in the southernmost part of the Rioja Alta subzone.
Winemaking
The winemaking method is the traditional one for a rosé wine, by bleeding the must. This must ferments in stainless steel tanks and is aged with its fine lees for 40 days, during which time it acquires a glyceric and velvety character that delights the palate of those who drink it.
Taste
Marqués de Murrieta Primer Rosé is a very attractive, aromatic rosé wine. On the palate it is balanced and very tasty, elegant and subtle, with ample fruity flavours and hints of pastry and bakery.
