Description
La Diva Vendimia Tardía - 37,5 cl. is a sweet white wine made from Moscatel de Alejandría grapes by Bodegas Gutiérrez de la Vega.
The grapes used to make this wine come from vines with an average life of 40 years. The grapes are of high quality and come from old vineyards in the Marina Alta, in Teulada and Moraira.
Elaboration
For this wine a late harvest is carried out with the Moscatel de Alejandría clusters pacified. Then fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels.
Finally, it is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and lightly filtered before being bottled and marketed.
Taste
La Diva Vendimia Tardía - 37,5 cl, has floral aromas with a herbal touch, citrus notes and hints of aniseed on a slightly musky background. In the mouth it is rich and intense, fresh from start to finish and ends with a pleasant bitter aftertaste - surprising!
