Description
Godina is a single varietal wine produced in the Campo de Borja DO by Bodegas Morca, a project of the family wineries Juan Gil and Gil Vera. It is produced with 100% Garnacha grapes, coming from small plots with low yields that are harvested by hand.
Winemaking
After a first fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes a malolactic fermentation process and is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, which contributes to its complexity and structure.
Taste
In terms of its organoleptic profile, Godina stands out for its intense aromas of ripe plums and wild flowers, with a soft touch of spices and a sweet hint of liquorice. On the palate, it offers an elegant and silky experience thanks to its ripe tannins, which provide structure and balance. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a harmonious sensation that perfectly combines fruity and spicy nuances.
