Description
Fritz Haag Brauneberg Riesling Trocken J is the white village wine(ortswein) special blend of selected Riesling grapes from the Grand Cru vineyards Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr.
Winemaking
Alcoholic fermentation and ageing takes place both in 1000 litre oak barrels and in stainless steel tanks. Each foudre benefits from the necessary maturation time, independently, to achieve greater depth and structure. Deliberate and selective harvesting gives this dry Riesling unrivalled elegance, finesse, fine fruitiness, herbal essences and slate spice.

Fritz Haag Brauneberg Riesling Trocken J is characterised by its structure, freshness, minerality and dryness. It stands out for its precision, body and spice. Juicy citrus fruit, a hint of white almond blossom and smoky, spicy slate spice give this home-grown wine its expressive character. In addition, the influence of partial fermentation in large oak is noticeable, giving it a lush, round and pure flavour, while being very elegant and stimulating. Despite being a dry wine, it has a structure that demands patience and time to be enjoyed to the full.
