Description
Billecart-Salmon Brut Nature is a sparkling wine made from Pinot Meunier, Pinot noir and Chardonnay by the Billecart-Salmon winery in the Champagne region of France.
The grapes used to make Billecart-Salmon Brut Nature come from the best regions of Champagne.
Winemaking
The grapes are hand-picked individually and separately. Vinification is carried out in vats, a malolactic fermentation and a second fermentation where the wine matures on its lees for 48 months.
No sugars are added during dosage to maintain the varietal characteristics of the grapes and a slow process is guaranteed where the aromas are extracted and the maximum expression of the varieties is preserved.
Taste
On the nose, this champagne offers fruity, floral and herbal aromas. On the palate it is creamy and fruity with a mineral tension and balanced intensity. The finish is long and lingering. Its acidity is vibrant and prepares the palate for the pleasures of gastronomy, offering great ageing potential!
